Blue Springs State Park

We decided to go camping at Blue Springs State Park in Florida with John, Roger & families last weekend (7/27-30). Despite rain the last day it was a great weekend. The 400,000,000 gallons a day out of the springs stays consistently 73 degrees year round. The water flow makes it the biggest springs in the US. We enjoyed tubing on the chilly water and swimming with the manatees. The smores were great and the women outdid themselves with enormous quantities of great food. The springs is about 30 minutes northeast of Orlando, about 3 hours from home. We are lookinjg forward to our New England trip starting the first of September.

Karl decided to get sick this weekend - he came down with a severe case of vertigo. We ended up in the Dr's office yesterday afternoon. He's feeling much better today - not back to 100% yet but no dizziness. He can actually walk upright without help.
