We enjoyed another scenic trip from Bar Harbor, Maine to Ashford, Connecticut. Much of the trip was on US-1 along the seashore then cross country through wooded hills, green pastures and picturesque lakes and busy little cities. It was a tiring drive and we didn't get to our campsite until 7:30PM, well after dark. It looks like a very nice campground, I'm anxious to see it in the daytime. It was a nice day to be on the road, pretty cloudy and we got about 5 minutes of rain, nothing hard. We drove through Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Connecticut today.
