We made another scenic ride thru Maine this morning, registered at the Bar Harbor Campground, and backed into this beautiful spot on the bay. We then toured Acadia Natonal Park, eating lunch at the Jordan Pond House/Restaurant. The parking was bad (Sunday noon during a holday weekend), we parked along the road and walked 1/2 mile. But the weather was nice and we rather enjoyed the walk. We then drove up Cadillac Mountain to breathtaking views. The campground closes on Tuesday morning for the season, so we just barely made the deadline.
