We had a nice quiet day driving from Virginia through Tennessee and finally picking up Jill in Trenton Georgia (20 miles southwest of Chattanooga TN). It was interstate all the way, set the speedometer on 59 and relax, I never have to worry about using the brakes. The trees were very strikingly colorful in Virginia, not so much in Tennessee yet. About midday I discovered I had on my rose colored sun glasses, it made the reds and oranges really stand out. They were gorgeous.
Jill is about 5 months old, about as big as a footlong hotdog, almost a handful, just as cute as a button and not much bigger. She is very timid and it will take a while to make her feel at home.
We'll stay here tomorrow to let Jill get acclimated, then take 2 more days to get home.
